Welcome from Dr. Bob Bardeen

The grace of Christ be with you!

Thanks for discovering the Westfield website!

In 1803, two Presbyterian farmers in western Pennsylvania gave some land from their west field for a new church. After some time our church took on the name: Westfield Presbyterian Church.

Now, after 204 years of worship, education, fellowship, and mission, Westfield continues to provide support and love to one another, the community, and throughout the world. Here are just a few program notes for you.

Our director of student ministries, Donovan Karki, leads a dynamic group of youth with Sunday night YO! ministries that include mission trips, mission outreach, Friday night concerts, and special events like retreats and conferences.

Our music director, Sarah Phillips, delights everyone with joy and enthusiasm through music and choral presentation. Come and listen to her wonderful preludes and enjoyable hymn accompaniments. Our choir has recently grown in numbers and sound. The wonderful Faithful Bells, directed by Marcy McClymonds, ring with praise to God as they inspire us with sounds of ringing hand bells.

On Wednesday, Amy Karki directs the SALT and LIGHT Company, our LOGOS program. This ministry with children and youth includes Bible study, crafts, recreation, a great dinner, and fun family time together with games and involvement. During the summer, Westfield goes all out for Vacation Bible School.

Often after worship, we have a light brunch or a lunch to encourage fellowship.

We have Sunday school for all ages, including five adult classes, and several Fellowship Groups that meet in homes for Bible Study and good fellowship.

Westfield has been a mission-minded church for a long time. Church members participate in Presbyterian disaster relief efforts and this year many will be involved in a local Habitat for Humanity Apostles Build project - an inspiring hands-on ministry in our county.

Come by and worship with us on Sunday at 11 a.m.  Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m. During the summer months we move worship to 10 a.m. and classes begin at 9 a.m. We're located on Routes 108 and 551 (west of Mt. Jackson) and we have ample parking for everyone.

We will be glad to see and meet you. Let us worship the Lord together.

With the love of Christ,

Bob
