Contracts Entered into by the Session
Any proposed contract to be entered into by the Board of Elders (Session) shall be presented at a stated meeting of the Session and shall require a minimum review period of fourteen (14) days prior to any vote for approval. During this period, the Elders are encouraged to engage in prayerful discernment and due diligence. A vote on such contract must occur no later than the next stated meeting of the Session following its presentation. If action is not taken at that meeting, the proposal shall expire and must be reintroduced to begin a new review period.

Emergency Digital Voting by the Board of Elders (Session)

In the event of a declared State of Emergency by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Board of Elders (Session) may conduct an emergency vote through digital or electronic means under the following conditions:

a) The vote shall address a single, clearly defined issue.
b) Approval of the motion shall require the affirmative vote of one-half (½) of the currently serving Elders.
c) The Moderator and Clerk shall ensure that the method of voting provides clear accountability and, when required, confidentiality.
d) The results of the digital vote shall be recorded in the minutes of the next stated Session meeting.
